Welcome our new Executive Director!

Stowe Trails Partnership is pleased to announce the hiring of Rachel Fussell as our new Executive Director, who will be starting her new role on July 16th.

Rachel is a graduate of Warren Wilson College, with a degree in Environmental Policy and Ecological Economics. She has spent the past five years with the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont, and moved to Stowe in order to be closer to her passion, mountain biking.

Rachel’s background ranges from working with environmental and agricultural non-profits, local and national government agencies, and college institutions. Through this work, she has gained over a decade of experience in project management, event coordination, grassroots organizing, community development, and fundraising. She is passionate about mountain biking, and is looking forward to working with Stowe Trails Partnership and the community to build on our successes, and enhance the opportunities we have before us – all in keeping with our mission.

Rachel lives in Stowe where she enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, gardening, and exploring new trails with her husband, Kelly, and energetic border collie, Ellie.

Please join us in welcoming Rachel as she leads us into the next chapter of our organization!
