“My name is Alex Reiber, and I am from Detroit, Michigan. I graduated from Wayne State University’s Environmental Science Program in 2018 and since then have worked in the field of Environmental Consulting and served with the Lakes Region Conservation Corps in New Hampshire. I love being outdoors and on trails, and I am excited to be spending the next year with STP through the Department of Environmental Conservation’s ECO AmeriCorps Program. Trails, whether traveling on bike, foot, or ski, are an incredible opportunity to enjoy and develop a connection with the natural environment, as well as promote physical and mental wellbeing. As Stewardship Coordinator, I am excited to continue improving the STP trail network, understanding how our trails are used and helping the community get involved!”
