Equipment Drive for Women & Youth
Help STP support MTB Afghanistan and its mission to support Afghan youth and women through bikes!

Farid Noori from MTB Afghanistan will be at Ranch Camp on August 27th to collect bike and gear donations!

STP is excited to be partnering with Mountain Bike Afghanistan (MTBA) to send well-functioning unused or outgrown bikes and cycling equipment to those in Afghanistan who can benefit from the freedom of biking. MTBA’s mission is to empower Afghan youth and women through the joy of riding and competing on mountain bikes and connecting people across borders for their shared love of cycling.

STP has an intimate understanding of the delight and freedom that mountain biking and cycling bring to each of us. Therefore STP is excited to support MTBA and help women and youth experience the pleasure of riding during a time when finding joy is needed the most.

STP is asking our community of cyclists and mountain bikers to help fill this urgent request to help meet MTBA’s needs.

Who are the Beneficiaries?

• Cheetah Cycling is Afghanistan’s first women-owned cycling club. Their goal is to bring women forward and help them become independent through cycling. We aim to send bikes, helmets, and shoes to 36 of its members.
• Afghan Youth who seek to find the joy of riding and competing on mountain bikes as well as connecting people over their shared love of cycling.

How YOU Can Help!

DONATE A BICYCLE
MTBA will take all well-functioning bicycles as a donation.
Please be mindful of the bicycle’s condition and overall fit for the purpose of this project. Most MTBA beneficiaries have racing aspirations.
For road bikes, please make sure it has dropped handlebars.
For mountain bikes, hardtails are preferred but we are also taking dual suspension.
Any level bicycle, as long as in good condition, is acceptable. Contact Farid Noori with any questions.
